David Walliams parted ways with publishing house.
Prolific children's author and TV personality David Walliams has been dropped by his UK book publisher, according to an announcement.
A spokesman for the company stated: "Upon deliberation, and with the guidance of its recently appointed chief executive, HarperCollins UK has decided not to publish any new titles by David Walliams."
Media sources suggest that the decision was reached following an inquiry regarding reports of conduct deemed unsuitable towards female individuals.
The firm did not confirm the motivations for this action, adding: "We refrain from speaking about confidential company decisions."
